Search often reaches people already looking
Someone searching for a specific service may be comparing providers or trying to solve a current need. Search ads can make an offer visible at that moment, provided the keywords, location, budget and landing page fit the business.
Search demand is not unlimited. If few people are searching, increasing bids may not create a large market. The offer also needs to match the words people use, and the business needs a way to turn a click into a useful next step.
Social can introduce an idea before the search
Social content can show a place, explain an experience, demonstrate expertise or keep a business familiar to people planning ahead. It may influence a future decision without producing an immediate booking from every view.
That does not make social inherently better or worse. It has a different role. A compelling photo might create interest, while a useful page or booking path supplies the details needed to act. Define whether the goal is discovery, engagement, enquiries or another outcome before judging results.
Connect the channel to the next step
Whichever channel you use, keep the promise consistent. If an ad promotes a particular package, the destination should explain that package rather than forcing the visitor to hunt through unrelated pages.
Compare channels using a shared business objective when possible, while recognizing that they influence different stages. Track source, enquiries and outcomes. A channel can assist a sale without being the final click. Use evidence from your actual customer journey instead of assuming one platform gets all the credit.
